Purchased 2 and a half years ago to replace a 500bhp Skyline GTR that had proved to be unreliable, this Sierra RS Cosworth has proved to be an awesome car, constantly being fettled and improved to eke out every last performance advantage possible. The car, whilst road legal, is mainly used nowadays as a trackday weapon of choice, although can occasionally be seen at such high profile venues as Southend and Basildon, and some of the larger car meets in the East Anglia region. It is not uncommon for the odd picture of this beast to appear in various car magazines.
Boasting approximately 400bhp at the flywheel, and with a stripped interior, race suspension and brakes, this car absolutely flys at the race circuits of the UK, with exceptional handling, braking, and lightning acceleration out of the corners. Plans soon include a trip to Europe to tackle such circuits as the infamous Nurburgring Nordschleiffe, and maybe even Gatebil! Rumour has it that entry into the Cannonball 8000 may even be on the cards, although this is unlikely to happen until 2008.
