Nik's Nissan Skyline R32 GT-R
|
Being an old skool RS fan, I always referred to Japanese Cars as Jap Crap, but eventually I was bored of Cosworths and decided to go Jap. The Skyline is the first Japanese car I have ever owned. I had every intention of buying a Mitsubishi Evo 6 but then I saw this one advertised as a 550bhp modified Skyline, so had to have it! And I am glad I did. I can still have the fun I had in RWD cars because the Skyline's ATTESSA system gives the driver RWD when they want it and AWD when they need it! I have to admit, when I took delivery of her the power was quite a shock, soon as she comes on to boost, the engine screams and my internal organs were pushed back into the seat! The speed that this thing can go round bends is amazing. A few of my friends have asked if I miss my old Cosworth, erm.... NO!
I am still finding bits and bobs on the car I didn't know it had so the spec list below may not be complete. Peterborough Estate Agents
UPDATE: Having owned the Skyline for 3 months now, I am still enjoying the car and feel more confident in pushing her a bit. I'm still not too sure where the limits are in the beast, but I have found the Skyline to be a lot more forgiving than a Cosworth which is all I am able to compare it to. Fuel consumption is a nightmare, but my local Shell filling station love me! |

If you are looking for a new JDM Skyline maybe you should also look for a nice house in Peterborough. There are a number of great Peterborough Estate Agents to choose from. You just might save enough money to get a great deal on a car too.
