Mk2 Fiesta Ghia 1.1
Not the fastest of 1st cars but I fucking loved it! Only about 50bhp but that was more than enough to get me to college and back.
After a small fire in the fuse box and some other electrical issues I sold her for £50. I heard recently that its now ragged about in a field.

Mk3 Capri Laser 1.6
My love with Capri's started early on in my driving history. All my mates took the piss but I didn't care - it was a classic. The car was very underpowered but I made the most of the RWD fun, scaring myself and others with each rainy day that passed.
I part-ex' ed her for the 306, a sad day indeed.

306 D Turbo
Who ever said french cars were poorly built and prone to breaking down was spot on. A head gasket, central locking issues and countless visits to the dealer proved that.
As far as performance it was a big step up from the Capri with 90BHP on tap.
After the drive shafts went in Blackpool it was part-ex' ed for the Corsa.

Corsa 1.4 SRi
A girls car? Three spokes? Yep! The Corsa was a fun drive and handled quite well. A 17.8 at the Pod was not bad for the mighty 78BHP it produced, at least I beat my mates 1.4 206.
I sold this to a local barry boy that abused it with a poorly fitted body kit, neon's and a paint job by Stevie Wonder. I bet its parked at Mac'D on a Saturday night - poor Car.

Mk3 Capri Laser 2.0
My second Capri to grace my drive was this fine example "Daisy". I bought her from a couple in East London, they were proper Capri nuts and had a mint 2.8 they kept in storage. She was a bit rough round the edges but with the added 400cc I would it a better driver than the 1.6.
I sold her to a member of the Fenland Capri Club for the sum of £275. He got a whole lot of rust for his money!

Mk2 MR2 Coupe
This car started my love affair with MR2's. It felt like a rocket ship compared to any of my other cars and being the coupe only had 121BHP. After a decat and twin 5" exhaust it certainly sounded faster.
This was the only car I ever had that I didn't have to spend money fixing and went straight thorough its MOT.

Mk2 Fiesta XR2
People saw this as a big step down from the MR2 but this was the best car I've ever had. With only a 1.6 CVH under the bonnet I went the only way I could on a budget to make this thing faster - it went on a diet.
With only an FIA plastic bucket seat and half a roll cage inside it was a hoot to drive. It certainly surprised alot of people - even showing up Nik's Cossie at the Safeway Racetrack. pwn3d!

Fiesta XR2i / Turbo
This mighty car started life as an underpowered XR2i and was brought to life by a 173BHP FRST engine. With so much power it was an exciting drive and pulled at 14.9 at the pod.
After failing its MOT and 4 gearboxes in style I ended up breaking her and actually made money on the car.

Mk3 Capri 2.8 Inj Special
As you can see this car was a right handful. A 2.8 V6, RWD with an LSD. It was so easy to get sideways and keep it there.
She needed some work to get her through the MOT but I really didnt have the time or money. I still regret selling her, she was dirty and a bit old but I love them like that ;)

Mk2 MR2 Turbo (Rev.3)
Another MR2 had been on the cards for a while. After spotting this car on an importers website I fell in love with it. 245BHP, an LSD and suspension stiffer than a porn star made it a cracking drive.
It didn't last long! I nearly killed myself in an overtaking maneuver into an oncoming car. As you can imagine, it was a bit of a mess after that and was written off. I'm just glad I wasn't too!

Mk2 MR2 Turbo (Rev.3)
People thought I was crazy getting another one but after only having the last one for 11 days I had to get another one.
It certainly looked better than the old one and performed very well. The 2 seater did a 14.1 @ 99MPH at the pod and produced a healthy 242BHP on the rollers.
I sold this earlier this year as we are moving house. Only the Focus Company car blesses my driveway.
